Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information submitted through AI Marketplace.
Last updated: June 2, 2026
1. Who we are
AI Marketplace ("the Marketplace", "we", "us", or "our") is a non-profit initiative operated by The Weitz Center (registered non-profit organization no. 510426935), POB 12, Rehovot, Israel. We are the party responsible for the personal information processed through this website.
For any privacy question, or to access, correct, or delete your information, contact us at info@weitz.org.il.
2. Information we collect
We collect personal information that you actively provide to us through our forms:
- Company submission form: company name, website, tagline, product or service description, category and sector, business stage, country of origin, company logo, and related business details; together with contact details of the person submitting — full name, role, work email, phone number, and any additional contact information you choose to add.
- Updates / subscription form: full name, role, company, work email, and the departments relevant to you.
We also automatically collect limited technical information when you browse the site, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and usage data, primarily through analytics tools (see Section 6).
3. How we use your information
- To review and publish company submissions in the Marketplace directory.
- To contact you regarding your submission or your account.
- To send you relevant Marketplace updates and marketing communications, where you have consented to receive them.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing your information with third parties
When you submit your details and provide consent, we may share your contact information with trusted third parties for relevant business and marketing purposes. These include:
- The Israeli High-Tech Association;
- The Manufacturers' Association of Israel;
- Solution suppliers, business associates, and other Marketplace stakeholders.
We also use service providers who process information on our behalf to operate the website (for example, hosting and database providers, and analytics providers). We do not sell your personal information.
5. Marketing communications and consent
We send marketing and update communications only to people who submitted their details and gave consent, in accordance with Israeli law (including Amendment 40 to the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law — the "Spam Law"). Every marketing message we send identifies us as the sender and includes a simple way to opt out. You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe option or by contacting info@weitz.org.il.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data, which is processed by Google. This helps us measure and improve the site. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.
7. Storage and international transfer of data
Submitted information is stored using Airtable, a cloud database service whose servers are located outside of Israel (including in the United States). By submitting your information, you acknowledge that it may be transferred to and stored on servers outside of Israel, subject to appropriate safeguards.
8. How long we keep your information
We retain your information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, while your company listing is published or while you remain subscribed to updates — and thereafter as required to meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 9).
9. Your rights
Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, you have the right to review the information we hold about you, to request that it be corrected, and to request its deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@weitz.org.il. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
10. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Marketplace is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
